An exceptional role has arisen for a commercially astute Pricipal seeking a highly desirable opportunity within one of the leading Global Private Equity firms.
In regards to the company itself, it is one of the largest Private Equity firms in the world and has been so for over two decades. It’s typical enterprise values range between €250 million to €10 billion. As a result of year on year growth, they wish to expand the team and are particularly interested in individuals at Director level
Working for one of the world’s leading private equity firms, you will be working across a range of highly interesting projects with a focus on Mid to Large cap deals. For this particular role, we would be interested in speaking with an individual currently at Director level or similar from a leading Private Equity firm or alternatively an individual from a leading Investment Bank. In regards to area of focus, we are interested in speaking with individuals who have a strong area of expertise such as Consumer and Retail, Energy and Utilities etc. For this particular role, a background in Infrastructure would be of a great preference although we would consider other areas of focus for other teams.
Due to the high demand for this position, selection criteria are extremely demanding. Applicants will be highly numerate with outstanding communication skills and must possess the following:
•Have a strong background in a specific field eg. Retail, Consumer •Have a strong network of existing relationships •Currently be at a Director level (Associate/Executive Directors may also apply). •Be within one of the leading ‘Tier One’ Investment Banks or Private Equity Houses ideally within the Principle Investment team.
An excellent Academic track record, which includes a post-graduate qualification like an MBA/ACA or Business School background is required. Key components of the role require that you will have excellent financial modelling /analytical skills; with a track record within an equivalent investment bank/Private Equity firm or experience from a leading Strategy Consulting house. Typically 10 years of post degree analytical work in a blue-chip financial environment with a direct experience of infrastructure/ project finance deals would be required for the Infrastructure position. You should have first class communication and relationship building skills are essential and have an outgoing, professional personality and evidence of having built strong external client relationships in the past.
