The Business Finance Officer (BFO) manages the Finance team supporting the US iShares business and oversees all aspect of Finance including: planning, reporting, forecasting, business analysis and accounting. The role’s primary focus is to ensure world-class Finance and Accounting practices, and drive business insights.
Job Responsibilities
Provide decision support and strategic insight to the US iShares leadership team.
Partner with the senior business managers to deliver financial services to meet their needs.
Support business forecasting, reporting, annual financial planning processes and year-end business performance reviews.
Continually improve the information provided to senior management, integrating a forward-looking and strategic approach
Drive improved process and content around financial processes.
Manage a total team of eight people.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressively responsible experience in Finance/Accounting functions within the Financial Services sector.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including ability to develop and present clear and concise analyses and recommendations to senior management.
Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization – with peers and senior management.
Ability to apply superior financial analytics to solving business problems.
Ability to deliver results while simultaneously working on multiple projects.
Consulting experience preferred, but not required.
Bachelor’s degree in related field; CPA/MBA preferred.
