Our client is a leading financial services group. With significant gloal businesses, it is exceptionally profitable.
They are now looking to add an Assistant Director to their corporate development team, who will work assist in the leading of non - organic growth initiatives for the bank.
The role will entail:
- Provide high quality value added Corporate Finance advice
- Participate actively in the making of recommendations to divest, hold or acquire businesses.
- Actively manage and where appropriate assist in the management negotiation and execution of the acquisition and disposal of corporate entities, businesses and joint ventures
- Maintain and develop close links with operating businesses.
- Build relationships with external advisers
- Support the Director(s) in the development of Senior Managers, Managers and Analysts
- Responsibility for adherence to Group Governance
- Assist in the management of equity participations, trade investments and capital application.

- Clear and logical thought processes allowing effective communication both orally and in writing
– Excellent Corporate Finance execution skills
– Highly developed valuation skills
– Deal structuring and transaction execution experience
– Ability to effectively influence deal team members at every level
– Good presentational skills (both preparation and delivery)
– Strong project management skills
– Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment
– Ability to manage with limited supporting resource
– Perseverance/resilience of character
– Personal flexibility – able to manage projects overseas at short notice
