$ Multi billion fund is looking add several investment analysts
Our client is a significant private equity investor, operating out of London. A discrete, hugely successful fund, they take an opportunistic approach towards investing although have a significant bias towards infrastructure, oil and gas, capital engineering, utilities and commodities. The firm takes controlling stakes in the assets in which they invest, and will also consider constructing and making significant investments in assets. There is a strong emerging markets focus as well.
They are now looking to add people at the Analyst level, who will work on the origination and execution of investments for the fund.
The role will encompass:
- assessing and analysing potential investments - undertaking an initial assessment of the asset or company and preparing an investment case - financial modelling and valuations; cash flow analysis; analysis of future comany performance - working, as principal, on the execution of the investment through to completion - management of asset through to exit
The candidate background:
- investment banking analyst with one of the top firms - probably you will have oil and gas, energy or infrastructure experience - outstanding financial modelling and technical skills - ideally fluent in Russian, Cantonese, Mandarin, other emerging markets languages
