Our client, one of the big 4 banks, are currently recruiting for an experienced banker to become National Head of Healthcare Infrastructure and undertake an exciting project to build and develop a team to service the growing areas of Aged Care and Private Hospitals.
The main functions of the role are as follows: To build a team of Healthcare bankers in all the major locations across Australia; to coach and lead the team; to source and convert external business opportunities for the Bank via a consultative selling approach, maximising both volumes and revenue and achieving an optimal customer experience in the process; and to raise the Bank’s profile in the target industry via referral networks.
You will also work with the risk management team and policy teams to formulate appropriate risk policies and practices, assist in the negotiation of commercial terms of transactions with larger clients and oversee progress of deal execution through to conclusion to ensure timely and efficient delivery of clients’ requirements, and build a progressive and high performance culture within the team and an environment that reflects the sales and service ethos of the organisation.
To succeed in this role you will have a solid understanding of the Healthcare Infrastructure industry, the capacity to think laterally and strategically, experience in dealing with risk and policy issues, a sales driven approach and an ability to coach and lead a high performing sales team.
