Our client is a premier bank with a well established franchise globally. It continues to expand its product offerings and presence in the region. It is recruiting a dynamic Co-Head of Operations for its Singapore operations covering securities, investment banking and private banking businesses.

Reporting to the CAO and managing a large team, you are responsible for the direction and control of all back office operations activities in Singapore covering a wide range of businesses including securities, investment banking and private banking. You will liaise with front office management to ensure that business needs are met in a timely manner. You will ensure that the firm’s activities adhere to the requirement of various legal and regulatory agencies, as well as the firm’s internal compliance standards. You are responsible for developing departmental policies and procedures and ensure that the function is structured and appropriately staffed to match the strategic direction of the bank. You will liaise with the Regional Head of Operations to ensure that regional objectives are met and coordinate with IT to streamline and automate current operations processes. You will liaise with external auditors and regulators on the review of the operation functions and to follow up on audit issue resolution. You will co-ordinate with all relevant departments to develop and implement new procedures/operational manual on the new products.

You will have at least 10 years of experience in operations ideally gained in a major global bank. With strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will have demonstrated strong leadership and management skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and is commercial in your approach.
