Our client is a global conglomerate of consumer products. There is a new opportunity for a Code Compliance Counsel/Officer to join their team.
Job Duties
Represent the General Counsel Asia/Amet in all CoBP issues in the Asia/Amet region
Implementing Code compliance and embedding initiatives in Asia/Amet region
Leads and trains network of Asia/Amet in-country nominated CoBP compliance officers
Leads implementation of Ethics compliance and embedding initiatives in Asia/Amet region
Oversees Asia/Amet regional and local investigations
Manages Asia/Amet regional code communication and training programmes
Manages Asia/Amet regional code management and ethics compliance/ reporting systems
Oversees operation of helpline in Asia/Amet region
Oversees roll out of targeted training in the Asia/Amet region
Fields of Responsibility
Manage Case Management System on all CoBP issues in the Asia/Amet region.
Monitor and track compliance for all countries in the Asia/Amet region and running case reports on CoBP cases.
Developing or assist in development of training tools and materials internally or with selected vendors.
Set target CoBP’s training demographics and work with the Head of Code Compliance and identify code issues for communication in the Asia/Amet region
Manage code communication processes in the Asia/Amet region
Review and provide regional input on proposed Code initiatives including updating/clarifications required for the region
Review and approve regional reports on Code compliance.
Review management of investigation in CoBP cases in the Asia/Amet region.
Support the implementation of Code initiatives, including training. Creation and deployment of targeting training programs and tools Implementation of a proactive, learning driven Code communication program
Development and implementation of sanctions and investigation guidelines
Management of helpline or other confidential employee reporting tools
Development and adoption of enterprise wide KPIs that support the identification, assessment and management of ethics risks
Ethics risk assessment and management process
Requirements
At least 5 years experience post qualification in a Compliance role
A good grasp and understanding of ethics line issues, preferably with experience in compliance and training.
A good command of both spoken and written English;
Good interpersonal skills
