Programme Advisory Services, Oil & Gas - Manager - London - Competitive Salary

Our Programme Advisory Services (PAS) practice is a market leader in the provision of capital programme assessment, improvement and monitoring. Over the last few years, we have experienced exponential growth and are one of the most dynamic and fastest growing practices within Ernst & Young.

Working as a Manager in our London practice your primary focus will be to deliver complex programme advisory, assurance and control assignments across the Oil and Gas industry for a range of global leading clients. The ability to deliver tangible business results whilst at the same time, nurturing and building client relationships for the longer term is essential. In addition to delivering excellence to our clients, you will also be expected to provide assistance in sales pursuits and proposals.

You will ideally have been working within Oil and Gas sector, within the Upstream or Downstream segments with a project team, or in an advisory capacity for another blue chip professional services firm and are now seeking a broader platform from which to grow and develop your talents.

Your professional experience will be underpinned by robust technical knowledge and demonstrated affinity towards the Oil and Gas industry.

Experience/Qualifications:
*Professional Qualification (Chartered or Qualified Engineer)
*Degree from a leading institution including higher degree (MSc, MBA, MA, MPhil, Phd.
*Prince 2 / Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)
*Project Management Institute - Project Management Professional (PMP)
*Association of Project Management (APM)
*Language skills including Arabic and Russian would be considered an advantage

Additional:
In particular we are interested in candidates with a proven track record in any of the following:-
*Experience in working for a major Operator and/or Contracting organistation
*A qualified engineer that has progressed to a junior management level with experience in managing various stages of a major capital investment project or programmes, from concept selection to de-commissining, with experience during project execution (construction) considered an advantage
*Cost, schedule and/or risk management of Projects and Programmes
*Auditing of Project and Programmes
*Managing or working in a complex project management environment
* Providing advice and guidance on Projects and Programmes
