Our client is a well-established Investment Management Company with diversified services and products. With ambitious plans to expand their client base across the Asia Pacific region, they are now seeking for top caliber candidates to join them in Hong Kong.

Based in Hong Kong, the role is to establish and implement operations procedures, particularly on derivative transactions, collateral management, pricing, valuation and client reporting. The functions include transaction processing and settlement, revaluation of collateral positions, derivatives and securities pricing, investments reconciliation, preparing daily cash projection, valuation and client reports. Main responsibilities include: Process and settle OTC and exchange-traded derivative transactions, including matching of term sheets or confirmations; Manage collateral positions, monitor funding requirements and settle collateral demands with counterparties for derivative transactions; Monitor and settle regular interest payments with counterparties for interest rate and currency swaps or other relevant derivative transactions; Maintain securities transactions, derivatives transactions and static data in internal system; Prepare valuation reports including securities and derivatives pricing, cash projection reports and client reports; Reconcile investment positions and valuations against custodians’ reports; Establish and maintain operations procedural manual; And, Support ad hoc tasks or projects such as system enhancement.

To qualify, you will be a degree holder with at least 5 years of hands-on operations experience on OTC and/or derivatives including collateral management. Operations experience on equities and fixed income securities settlement preferable. You will posses good analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent command in English and Chinese is a must.
