A leading global fund management firm with more than $45 billion in assets is looking for a Fund Accountant for a great contract position. This role is based in the heart of Auckland’s CBD, originally a contract position but the client is open to making the role permanent depending on your experience and performance.

Key responsibilities may include:
 

• Daily valuations/calculation of unit prices
• Reconciling investment and accounting records
• Financial reporting, monthly statements to Treasury
• Statutory Reports
• Audit & Tax
• Control and Risk Management
• Data Integrity

The successful applicant will have extremely strong Excel skills and had previous exposure to unit pricing and fund accounting. You will have strong communication skills and a can do approach to your work. At least 2 years Fund Accounting experience in a commercial environment is required. ACCA, CA or equivalent membership is ideal, but not essential.
