Top investment bank is looking for an Equity Research Associate to join

Our client is a major investment bank, who are now looking to add an Equity Research Associate to their well rated retail team.

The position will focus on providing thought provoking equity research and investment ideas to their asset management and institutional client base.

Day to day the role would entail:

Developing a clear understanding of how the business models and industry dynamics of companies under coverage work. 

Financial modelling and analysis

Writing detailed and thought provoking research on the companies under coverage with both an eye to the short term view as well as the longer-term drivers of value,

Dealing with company results.

Liaising with company management to keep abreast of any developments,

Assisting the team with any ad-hoc work. This is most likely to involve client request

Qualifications, knowledge and experience:

Equity research analyst with retail experience

Investment banker looking to make a move into sell side equity research 

ACA with first time passes, with excellent mathematical skills

Equity analyst from the buy or sell side looking for a new role
